US 82nd Airborne Paratrooper, Battle of the Bulge, Belgium, 1944
A 1/6 character study project which I enjoyed working on. It’s a thrill to see what is 2 dimensional – as in an image, – take a 3 dimensional form, allowing views from all angles. The figure is heavily weathered and the uniform given a watery gunk treatment, then treated with acrylic pastels when dried. The headsculpt was repainted too.
